Lea Urzino has always dreamed of becoming an artist and with commitment and dedication she has made this dream! She studied art and gold metals at the Art Institute of Squillace (Cz) and has achieved specialization in the School of gold jewelry of the founding of the Tari’ Marcianise (CE).
Lea has also attended courses of specialization and has worked with leading experts in the field.
In 2001 he opened his own goldsmith workshop in Soverato (Cz). His laboratory, in ten years, has become a reference point for the community thrived. His creations have inspired various social and cultural events.
In 2011 the Region Calabria gave to Lea Urzino the certificate of qualification as a master craftman to the artistic activity of gold and has authorized the use of the mark of quality for the recovery of artistic and typical of Calabria.
Each jewel is followed at every stage of the process: design, prototyping, wax casting, finishing, polishing and embedding.
